Dawn is Wazi M Kunene’s highly anticipated debut stand up comedy special, first seen at the Joburg Theatre and The Bioscope.

Since the inception of her stand up career in 2018, Wazi has winged herself over a sea of boxed standards and gendered expectations, steadily maintaining her position as a crowd favourite at shows around the country. With her surprising, breathtaking gags, Wazi masterfully challenges societal norms and our thinking.

In Dawn, Wazi will, as expected, unashamedly and hilariously reveal more layers to our shared human conditions. Rent, aka depression and the withering state of relationships.

It’s the dawn of everything, for all of us!
